Ahead of Your Appointment: The First Steps Forward on Your Hearing Health Journey
Welcome! You’re about to take a big step towards better hearing, and our team here at Click Hearing will make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
Here’s everything you need to know before your first visit so you can walk in feeling confident and ready.
What to Expect
1. Warm Welcome
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team. We’ll check you in, offer you a seat, and answer any last-minute questions.
2. Getting to Know You
You’ll have a relaxed chat with your hearing care professional. You can share any concerns, describe your hearing experiences, and talk about your lifestyle. This helps us tailor the assessment to your needs.
3. Ear Health Check
Next, we’ll look inside your ears using a gentle, painless otoscope. This lets us see if your ear canals are clear and healthy. If your ears are blocked with wax, don’t worry! You can have them cleaned before your hearing test.
4. Your Appointment
This is usually the longest part of your visit, and what happens here depends on the reason you’ve come in — whether that’s a hearing assessment, earwax removal, a hearing aid fitting, repair or servicing. Whatever the appointment, your care is tailored to your needs and, wherever possible, we’ll give you clear results and outcomes on the same day.
5. Review of Results
Once the test is done, your results are explained in plain language. You’ll see exactly how your hearing is doing, and you can ask as many questions as you like.
6. Next Steps
If you need hearing support, you’ll get clear advice on your options. You’re in control and there’s never any pressure, just concrete answers.
