Services We Offer:
Pure-Tone Audiometry (PTA)
Your hearing assessment usually begins with a standard pure-tone audiogram. You’ll be comfortably seated in a sound treated booth or room, using TDH 39 headphones.
Before testing, your ears will be checked with a gentle otoscopic examination. During the test, you’ll listen for tones at a range of frequencies, from 250 Hz up to 8000 Hz.
If needed, we’ll also check bone conduction at key frequencies. If your case requires it, extended frequency testing up to 20,000 Hz is available.
Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE)
OAE testing helps to understand how well your inner ear is working, without needing any response from you. This test is only performed if your middle ear is functioning normally, which your hearing health expert will confirm with tympanometry.
OAE results can reveal early signs of noise or medication-related damage, even before you notice changes in your hearing.

Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR; BSER; BSERA)
ABR testing checks how signals travel from your inner ear to your brainstem. This can help identify possible neurological conditions and gives an objective measure of your hearing.
Unlike OAE, ABR can estimate your hearing thresholds and works even if you have middle-ear issues. After your test, you’ll receive a clear summary of the findings.
Cortical Evoked Response Audiometry (CERA; CAEP)
CERA testing looks at your hearing along the entire auditory pathway. This is especially useful for medico-legal assessments.
You’ll be able to relax, perhaps reading or watching a subtitled film, while we measure your hearing function. Before starting, we’ll complete a pure-tone audiogram for a full picture. Your results will be explained in a straightforward summary report.
