Behind the ear hearing aidsBehind The Ear Hearing Aids

This hearing aid type sits behind the outer ear and connects via a plastic tube to a custom made ear mould that sits in the ear canal and delivers sound into the ear.

ITE IN the hear hearing aidsIn the ear Hearing Aids

In the ear hearing aids sit in the outer ear (the working parts are all contained within this ear mould) and may be used for a variety of hearing losses.

CIC Completely in the canal hearing aidsCompletely In The Canal Hearing Aids

Smaller than In The Ear hearing aids, Completely in the Canal hearing aids sit right in the ear canal and are less visible, but are generally less suited to more severe hearing losses.

ICCIn the Canal (ITC) Hearing Aids

Slightly larger than the completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aid but smaller than the in-the-ear (ITE) hearing aid.

RITE Receiver in the ear hearing aidsReceiver-in-the-ear (RITE) Hearing Aids

Their two piece design allows them to be worn comfortably behind or on top of the ear whilst a very thin and discreet wire is connected to a tiny receiver (loudspeaker) in the ear canal.

Spectacle Hearing Aids

Specially made hearing devices that are built into spectacle frames, use a vibrating pad to pass the sound into the inner ear via the mastoid bone.
