Benjamin Mann: Principal Audiologist
Company founder Benjamin Mann is a fully qualified NHS Audiologist. Ben has previously worked in several London teaching hospitals and latterly worked with Mid-Essex Hospitals as Head of Audiology services.
Ben has a special interest in modern hearing care, paediatrics, social communication disorders, and vestibular assessment. As a signatory to the Register of Clinical Physiologists and a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, Ben is well qualified to advise you on all aspects of hearing health and hearing aids.
Lisa Aldridge: Chief Audiologist
Lisa joined Click Hearing in 2013 following over 20 years working as an NHS Audiologist with both adults and children in various Essex Hospitals.
She has also worked as an examiner for Southampton University, assessing Student Audiologists in the practical aspects of their training. Lisa is fully qualified and competent in all aspects of Audiology including hearing assessment, balance assessment and fitting of hearing aids.
Hayley Billington: Senior Audiologist
Hayley joined Click Hearing in 2015 having previously worked as an Audiologist with Mid Essex Hospitals NHS Trust. Working predominantly with adults she is continually seeking the best possible outcome for her clients.
Hayley graduated from the University of Southampton and founded the Audiology Society, mentoring younger students. She is fully registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists.
Paula Appleton: Tinnitus Counsellor
Paula is a qualified Counsellor with experience of working with individuals of all ages working with an integrative approach.
She combines a range of counselling therapies tailoring them for each individual client for the process and the acceptance of their diagnosis, also the time to work through this to move forward with their life. My experience has led me to initiate a counselling service for Special Education Needs Hearing impaired students, staff and also support to families; specialising in the counselling of the deaf and hard of hearing.
Paula has a CSW Excel qualification which includes Deaf Studies covering levels of deafness, audiology and the impact that hearing loss/tinnitus and Audio Processing Disorder can have on the individual, including the impact it may have on their family.
Laura Dawson: Speech & Language Therapist
Laura also runs training programmes for people working with dementia and part of her portfolio includes working for Essex County Council as their voice tutor for teachers. Laura has an additional interest in children’s speech sound disorders and is the author of Auditory Bombardment stories; Speech-sound stories for children. (Winslow press, 2004). Laura is a member of the Royal college of Speech & Language therapists and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
