PRESS RELEASE
LOCAL HEARING CARE FIRM IS ONE OF THE FIRST IN THE UK
TO BE ACCEPTED IN NEW CUSTOMER ASSURANCE SCHEME
19th January 2010:
A local hearing care specialist has become one of the first companies in the UK to be approved as a member of a new national scheme which assures customers of the high quality of its service. Click Hearing, which is based in Station Road, Upminster and has been delivering high levels of service since 2002, has signed up to the Customer Care Scheme being run by the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA).
“Companies have to offer high levels of customer service and care before they are admitted to the scheme, and we are extremely proud to have been accepted,” said Ben Mann, Managing Director at Click Hearing.
“It’s estimated that about 1 in 7 people in the UK suffer from hearing loss and Medical Research Council figures show that 4 million people in the UK could benefit from hearing aids, but do not seek advice. I hope this will help reassure customers in the area of the quality of the professional care they will receive from Click Hearing. Being a member of the Customer Care Scheme is further proof that we are serious about looking after our customers and are fully committed to assuring a high quality service and professionalism,” concluded Ben.
A spokesperson for BSHAA said: “If a hearing aid business is registered under the scheme they have to assure us that they have a clear, fair, speedy and transparent way of dealing with issues raised by their customers. Further if they are not able to resolve those issues, the Society will step in and can offer conciliation and arbitration if that is appropriate. We are confident that in the future people wanting a hearing aid will only go to an individual or Company which displays the BSHAA mark of assurance.”
